Mortal Kombat 1 Reigns Supreme in UK Sales Charts

Mortal Kombat 1 has achieved significant success in the UK, clinching the top spot in the UK boxed sales charts. Chris Ding, from Gamesindustry.biz, noted a decrease of 38% in its sales compared to its predecessor, Mortal Kombat 1. 

The decline in physical sales, an increasing trend these days, might have influenced this drop. The new release, however, still managed to outdo other major launches such as Lies of P, which secured third place in the sales chart, ahead of Pikmin 1+2.

In other rankings, Payday 3 has secured the 7th position, which isn't too surprising given its primary audience is likely the digital PC market. Starfield, on the other hand, has plummeted to the 19th spot with The Crew Motorfest steady at the 11th.
